Description

IgG antibodies to Rubella virus is indicative of past exposure to Rubella virus. Positive result also indicates response to Rubella vaccination. IgM Antibody to Rubella may indicate acute, recent infection, or vaccination. Congenitally infected infants will show an IgM response at 2 to 12 weeks postnatally.
